
President
Katherine Twede assists on surgeries in rural medical settings, where bleeding control is especially challenging and medical support is limited. She trains first responders in Basic Life Support and First Aid. She has extensive translational research and clinical work at Harvard Medical School, Rice University, and the Texas Medical Center.

Founding Surgeon
Dr. Levin is an attending physician in the division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Levin received his medical degree and completed his residency at George Washington University School of Medicine. He also completed a surgical critical care fellowship for AAST Trauma and ACS at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Founding Surgeon
Dr. Behbahaninia is an attending physician in the division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at University of South Florida – Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Behbahaninia completed his surgical residency at University of Arizona – Phoenix and his trauma and critical care fellowship at Vanderbilt University.

Founding Engineer
Michael has six years of experience working in medical device engineering, including guiding the design and development of multiple medical devices as a consulting engineer at a top medical device incubator. Michael has a history of translating research into commercial use at Vanderbilt, MIT, and Harvard.
